Needham Agriculture is the primary regional distributor for Fibrophos fertiliser throughout East Anglia.

Fibrophos is a concentrated PK fertiliser supplying phosphate, potash, magnesium, sulphur and trace elements. It is derived from ash produced from burning poultry manure and used on combinable crops, sugar beet, potatoes and grassland.

Readily Available for crop uptake providing immediate and sustained release for crop rotations. Therefore suitable for annual or rotational dressings. The phosphate in Fibrophos is more than 80% soluble in 2% citric acid and nearly half is soluble in neutral ammonium citrate providing a long lasting as well as immediate supply to the growing crop. It is 90 to 100% as available as that in triple super phosphate within the first growing season after application. The potash in Fibrophos is far less prone to leaching (50% water soluble) than inorganic fertilisers and avoids luxury uptake in grass land reducing the risk of staggers. ADAS trials carried out by ETSU for the DTI confirmed that the potash is quickly available and is as effective as muriate of potash. Any potash remaining will become available to the plants in the longer term, making Fibrophos a very effective fertiliser for grass and arable situations.

Delivered and spread in bulk by our team of 39 contractors running specialist spreaders from self-propelled on floatation tyres to row crops wheels with many utilising water jetting for dust suppression.

Proven in independent trials to be as effective as conventionalstraights and blends. Notably it has been proven and applied on farm for nearly twenty years.
