Needham Chalks (HAM) Ltd is the largest supplier of quarried chalk in East Anglia, producing over 100,000 tonnes for agricultural and industrial uses, and currently operating five quarries in East Anglia, drawing chalk from other quarries as required. This is marketed through Needham Agriculture and Needham Chalks Industrial.

 

Our processed chalk has a number of applications including agricultural lime, brick chalk, industrial chalk, line marking and heritage mortars. In the UK, we are a major producer of knapped and whole flints. These are supplied to the decorative building trade in the UK and Europe.

We offer a soil sampling service to farmers in East Anglia, testing for pH and nutrients. As well as supplying lime for correcting pH imbalances, we also supply Fibrophos, p-grow and pkup fertilisers.
