Ford Mk 2 1600 auto
- This was bought for our apprentices to practise on, but they learned fast, and are now so busy with our mainstream work that we haven’t had time to complete it! All parts are present, everything works, and all it needs is reassembling and painting. This is an elegant little car with a much admired clean design, and eminently practical. Offers around £1200 (sorry about the Weller steel wheels. Not our choice.)
OPEL MANTA B2
- For the driver who wants a reasonably priced modern classic, Premier offers this elegant 1983 Opel Manta coupe. Finished in red with a grey interior, it is taxed, tested has a full service history, and is ready to go. This is an appreciating classic, and, unlike many moderns, was always renowned as a true driver's car. This version has the carburetted Opel 1800cc OHC engine coupled to a 5 speed Getrag gearbox, and is renowned for its fine handling and roadholding. With only 68,000 miles on the clock (we can’t guarantee this figure, but it is consistent with the generally unworn interior and mechanical condition, and fits with the service history documents), this is an ideal, low maintenance first classic.
